Community Midwives

Mrs Jan Cottrill and team are involved in the antenatal clinics at the surgery and in the deliveries of patients booked into the GP unit.

Community Nurses

Nurse Fran Coleman
Our District Nurses Mrs Fran Coleman & Mrs Alison Mountford are responsible for the nursing of patients at home, particularly older or chronically ill patients. They also provide valuable assistance in the surgery.

Health Visitors

They can be found in the "welfare" building near the surgery. They are interested in child development assessments, care of the under fives and their families and health education for all ages.

Attached Staff

The doctors can also refer you to a range of other specialist staff such as a social worker, physiotherapist or nurse specialising in mental health if needed.
